Lessons from the Ants

A Moment a Day (2007)

Take some moments and learn from the ants. With their heavy load, they make it a point to stop and greet one another. You know what they tell one another? “Carry on, you are doing well!” They ENCOURAGE one another. They do not put down each other.

There is yet one lesson we can learn from the ants: I have never seen a group of ants sitting around, playing card, or taking it easy while the others are working. They all work hard, and they work together as a team.

A Moment with the LORD

Lord, help me not to be stingy with praise and affirmation, and help me to appreciate the value of work and the beauty of team work. Amen.

A Moment with the WORD

“Help carry one another’s burden; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6,2
