Is it easy to forgive?
No, it is not easy to forgive.
But what does it mean to forgive?
To forgive does not mean it did not happen.
(Accept that it happened!)
To forgive does not mean that it did not hurt.
(Accept that it did hurt!)
To forgive means to decide that that which happened, and that which hurt, does not become a wall between you and me anymore.

Lord, it is not easy to forgive. It is easier to get even! And it is not easy to forget. It is easier to remember! Lord, help me then to do that which is not easy–out of love for You and for my own good. Amen.

Yes Lord to forgive is never easy..yet we can make it difficultly possible through your loving kindness and love for us in dying on the cross..the difficultly possible will eventually be easily possible.
