The story was told by retired Brig Gen Titan Kison (Phil Army) who was told by his mother to serve the Mass every Sunday at 4:30 am when he was a child.
He often asked his mother why he had to serve at 4:30 am, when it was easier for him to serve at 6:30 am Mass.
His mother’s answer was simple: “Titan, if you serve without sacrifice, you really don’t serve at all.”
