Miracles do happen if you only believe. This is the idea behind the original soundtrack of the movie, The Prince of Egypt.
“Though hope is frail it’s hard to kill. Who knows what miracles you can achieve. When you believe, somehow you will, you will when you believe.”
In some of the healings that Jesus performed, He always asked almost the same question, “Do you believe that I can do that for you?” And the supplicant would answer, “Yes, Lord, I do believe!”
Healing is only possible if one is also willing to be touched by the healing hand of God. The Tagalog proverb tells us the same: “Nasa tao ang gawa, nasa Diyos ang awa,” meaning, God helps those who help themselves.
“I do believe, help my unbelief!”
