Season of Creation activities in the Diocese of Tagbilaran with Bishop Abet Uy
Responding to the call of the Pope to care for mother earth, the youth volunteers from the CM-SCA Diocesan Secretariat and PYM Diocesan Secretariat participated in the International Coastal Clean-Up 2019 last September 21 in collaboration with Plastic Free Bohol at Panglao Bohol.
In the Facebook account of CM-CSA Secretariat, the youth stated, “Let us start the change in ourselves. Let us be responsible with our trash because earth is not a hug trash bin but rather, it is our home.”.
The youth expressed their gratitude to Bishop Abet Uy for the paternal support and for the transportation provided. Ealier, the bishop himself lead a tree-planting activity with the youth at Cabawan district last September 15 2019.
Not only the youth but the children as well as demand that all need to be part of the solution.
