The WORD of God is power and life! This is how the disciples on the road to Emmaus experienced the Word of God proclaimed, narrated, and explained by the Risen Lord Himself. They would latter testify: “Were not our hearts burning (within us) while he spoke to us on the way and opened the scriptures to us?” (Luke 24,32)
